Trust me, if you’re ever feeling isolated or just a little alone with your interests, listening to a podcast can connect you to an entire community of people interested in the same things you are! Plus, who doesn’t need a little distraction while their cross training at the gym or walking the dog? Some are more dense and informational while others are more conversational and entertaining. My advice? Just start listening! Go to the iTunes podcast app on your iPhone and start searching things that you’re interested in. And the best part is…it is FREE CONTENT. Yes, I said it, the iTunes podcast platform is an endless sea of free content. If you’re a vegan runner, the No Meat Athlete podcast is a great place to start because it truly combines veganism and running. The other podcasts I’ve recommended are a little less specific to the vegan runner niche, but still hit many of the same notes! Podcasts are a great way to learn more about the things you are interested in, gain a fresh perspective, or learn something new.
