I’m a wife, and stay at home mom of a 3 year boy, who is also my favorite little running buddy. Aside from running I’m also a big fan of leading an active and healthy lifestyle to set a good example to those around me. I want to show other mothers/people, that even though I’m a busy mom I still make time for me and my health. As far as when I really took an interest in running, it was around my son’s first birthday (January 2014). I was battling PPD as well as dealing with stomach issues all the time. I picked up running as a way to combat the depression, and it was also about that time I decided to go vegan to help with the stomach problems. It’s been an amazing couple years of both and I’m excited to keep moving forward.
